Poverty causes many children at risk in the second start of their lives. 0.7600000 children die each year before reaching the age of 5 years, many of the causes that can be prevented with proper immunizations, and proper nutrition, water and adequate sanitation.Poverty also puts children at risk of exploitation through sex trafficking, child labor and early marriage. Children living in poor areas increase risk subjected to violence of armed conflict or recruited as child soldiers.
