Introduction:
Child labor is calculated as the worst form of child abuse and exploitation. Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) Urges Governments to take effective measures to eradicate it.
Frequent child labor in developing countries the problem. Africa and Asia account for over 90% of the total child labor. The International Labour Organization (ILO) that the number of children working are about 250 million people in developing countries, including at least 120 million are working full time. Of these children work 61% in Asia and 32% in Africa and 7% in Latin America.
Pakistan is working about eight million children in different occupations and two thirds of them are working full time. And the fundamental rights, such as survival, education, protection and development grossly violated by child labor. The fundamental cause of child labor is extreme poverty forcing parents to employ their children a little extra money for daily living.
This study was designed to collect information from children working dimensions and establish a relationship between poverty and child labor in Pakistan.
It uses an income study project of Luxembourg and the analysis of the analysis to detect the relative role of demographic factors and labor markets and income transfers from the State to determine the size and direction of change.Poverty rates decreased significantly among children in the three countries has increased by three others. In any country demographic factors were the strength of the high rates of poverty among children, but these factors are also limited in their ability to relieve children from the negative impacts arising in the labor market or the public sector.
Increases in labor force participation of mothers cut poverty rates among children, while declines in earnings of parents to force rates higher employment rates. Finally, there is a way to reduce poverty rates among children. Reforms income transfers to increase the supply of labor or may reduce the poverty rate among children can not finish.
